How Acupuncture works

Acupuncture comes from a classical East Asian medical framework that understands the body as an interconnected system. In this tradition, channels — often described as pathways of qi and blood — circulate throughout the body, nourishing tissues and supporting communication between organs, muscles, and the mind.

When circulation becomes obstructed — whether through stress, injury, inflammation, or chronic strain — symptoms can arise. Acupuncture points are used to restore movement within these pathways, supporting the body’s ability to regulate and repair.

From a modern scientific perspective, acupuncture has been shown to influence the nervous system, endocrine signaling, circulation, and inflammatory processes. Research demonstrates measurable changes in brain activity and neurochemical release following treatment. These effects can alter pain perception, improve blood flow, and support the body’s internal regulatory mechanisms.

The goal of acupuncture is not to override the body — but to help it recalibrate.

Acupuncture has been used clinically for thousands of years and continues to be integrated into modern healthcare systems worldwide. When applied thoughtfully and strategically, it can complement conventional medicine and, in some cases, reduce the need for more invasive interventions

Explore what we offer

Initial Treatment (90 min)
$130.00

This visit is designed to identify the root pattern beneath your symptoms.

We’ll complete a thorough intake, assess relevant systems (sleep, digestion, stress, structural alignment), and perform traditional diagnostic methods. You’ll receive acupuncture during the session and have time to rest.

We end with a strategic treatment plan — including frequency recommendations and, when appropriate, herbal support.

Follow Up Treatment (60 min)
$95.00

Each visit is focused and responsive. We check in on changes in symptoms, sleep, stress levels, and overall regulation, then refine the treatment accordingly.

You’ll receive acupuncture and have time to rest and integrate. As your body stabilizes, treatments are spaced out thoughtfully rather than automatically.

Care is steady, not rushed — and designed for long-term resilience.

Fire Cupping (30 min)
$65.00

A targeted treatment designed to mobilize stagnation and restore healthy circulation. Ideal for chronic tension, overuse patterns, and recovery support.

This is a focused session and does not include a full acupuncture treatment.

Temporary marks are expected and resolve naturally.
